The goal of the new website was to implement a solution that is faster, more user-friendly, and easier to update and maintain. The renewal utilized modern technology, refreshed the visual design, and improved the functionality of website management. The site structure was clarified to enhance the user experience and streamline content management. The new website solution allows for easy updating of product information and makes site maintenance clearer and more efficient.

Sievi’s website features a wide range of products and extensive content in multiple languages. Sievi is the largest footwear manufacturer in Northern Europe, with its roots in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. Its production facilities are located in Sievi and Oulainen, where more than one million pairs of footwear are manufactured annually by approximately 500 employees. At the Oulainen factory, among other products, Sievi lightweight boots are produced, and the factory’s direct injection molding method represents state-of-the-art technology in boot manufacturing worldwide. In Europe, only a few other footwear factories besides Sievin Jalkine Oy use this technology.

Sievi’s product range includes over 200 products suitable for both professional use and leisure time. In 2024, the Sievi Group’s revenue amounted to EUR 173 million. Exports accounted for 50% of footwear sales, with exports to more than 40 countries worldwide.

The new website brings significant improvements compared to the previous version

The redesigned website offers several clear improvements over the previous version. The old product and dealer search was slow, whereas now products and dealers load instantly.

Another major improvement is in product information management: previously, data was maintained in Excel sheets, whereas now product information is retrieved directly from the PIM system. This has made updating information significantly faster and more reliable.

The new website utilizes modern technology, which is reflected in improved overall performance. The site’s content is easy to update in multiple languages through the admin panel, without needing to edit individual site blocks separately.
